The name of this week’s time waster may sound horrible, but it is not what you think. It is an amazingly artistic puzzle game that will most likely have you scratching your head for the first 5 minutes, but when you get the premise behind the game, you’ll start to understand how to complete it. While it may seem dark and depressing, as you progress through its different phases, you will… well I don’t want to ruin it for you. You are going to have to play it to find out what happens.

Today, I Die is a game based on a series of artistic flash games done by Daniel Benmergui. The neat thing about his games is that they have an innocent appeal to them that is quite refreshing, and rarely found in any other game.
The graphics used in his works are not impressive at all, but the beautiful way in which the characters interact with their world is breathtaking. This same talent carries over to Today, I Die – making it a charming game with a really neat message, covered in a candy coating of artistic glamour.
Give it a try and let me know what you think. Hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised by the game’s outcome.
