Okay, so I’ve been noticing that I’ve been getting a little thick around the mid-section. Now, you are probably thinking, ” No way Dean, you are both sleek and svelte. I refuse to believe there is an ounce of fat on that wonderful temple of the Holy Spirit of yours!” Sadly, it’s true, I have been gaining some major pounds because of my desk job. But that’s okay, I know just how to fix that – the productive way!

Hey Chris! No, I switched to a graduate degree in Information Assurance (fancy phrase for computer security), but I don't think I'll be continuing that either because of funding, and because I'd rather chew rusty nails.
How have you been?!
I've been doing pretty well. I'm working for Providence Community Services as a Data Analyst for two of their programs that serve children and young adults who have mental illnesses. One of my research projects was also just accepted to be presented in a talk at a conference in Vancouver in March, so that's pretty exciting. Other than that, just busy with work, applying to grad school and some classes I'm taking at Goldenwest. I'm actually taking a Small Business ownership class, so it was interesting listening to some of the stuff you mentioned about starting your own business.
How've you, Marissa and Alizea been? Have you found out if the new baby is supposed to be a boy or girl yet?
Dang, that's awesome! I will be praying for your talk! You are going to do great! Marisa and I are doing well! The baby should be here within the next 4 weeks. I can't wait! We decided not to find out. It makes it way more exciting!

Hey, sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I have a grad school app that I'm trying to turn in tonight, so I'm spending time catching up on messages I haven't replied to.
Prayers for you guys and the baby. I saw Miranda at a party this weekend. I haven't seen her in forever either it seems.
The class was okay, if I really was wanting to open a small business it might have been more interesting. A lot of it was kind of basic, common sense stuff, but some of it was pretty interesting. I didn't actually read very much of the book, so there might have been a lot more stuff that I missed.
Discovered your site while searching for a Catholic calendar for google and my iCal yesterday. Am loving your site/blogs! Thanks for these tips — can certainly use them as I motivate myself to get busy. Have been unemployed for a while and just getting out of that fog of self pity. Your site inspires me.
