034 PC Podcast – Dropshipping Revisited

productive catholic podcast

In this episode, Katie Rose from Style Moms asks a great question about dropshipping and how to go about finding a women’s apparel dropshipper that will also allow her to put her own private label on the product.  There are a number of options that are available, but one of the big issues with drop shipping is that a wholesaler, wherever they are in the world, needs to be able to ship thing quickly.

That being said, wholesalers might not be able to print your label on demand, and they sure as heck aren’t going to keep inventory that’s solely for you unless you can sell a lot of it.

Some of the sites mentioned that could potentially help get apparel dropshipped are AliExpress (they will ship to the US from Asia quickly), Wholesalecentral (A huge directory of wholesalers that you can contact and work out an agreement with), and Zazzle (they only work with a few types of clothing, but it’s easy).

We also respond to a comment that was left by Adam about episode 29 where Devin and I talk about Multi-level marketing.  In that episode I explain that I don’t see any multi-level marketing opportunities as a business and that if you really want to start your own business you need to have a product or service to sell that you personally own and aren’t just trying to get into your network of referrals.

Thanks a ton for the helpful response, Dean! Despite all my research, I did not find Aliexpress until your recommendation, and I’m super excited about the possibilities of working with their merchandise. God bless!
